Very interesting route appreciating the landscape contrasts: plowlands, olive groves, oak wood groves... and discovering the history hidden at a walking pace: bandits and smugglers legends, all complemented with the capricious shapes carved in the Tajo del Abanico ravine by the Sijuela stream. We will also enjoy the best views of this wonderful ravine as well as those of Ronda monumental city. Day 2: Llanos de Líbar Duration (approx.): 4 hours. Length: 24 km. Difficulty Medium. In this MTB route we will penetrate the most unknown area of the Sierra de Grazalema Nature Reserve. This landscape is surrounded by mountains and it will be the environment we will see during all the route. Flanked by the Sierra del Palo in one side and by the Sierra de Líbar in the other side, this is considered one of the most beautiful and unknown spots in the Sierra de Grazalema Nature Reserve. The soft plains succeeds each other among beautiful stretches of oak wood groves and some majestic and centenarian trees (Quejido). We will have the sensation of being in a fairy tale place thanks to the limestone shapes which are modeled by the water and the wind and which origin is in the jurassic period. Day 3: Descent to the Sea Duration (approx.) 6 hours. Length: 45 km. Physical difficulty: Easy. Technical difficulty: Medium. We will set off from the Sierra de las Nieves mountain tops, we will then descend among green valleys and magic rivers without touching our bike pedals. A maze full of mountain lanes will lead us to the Costa del Sol, wonderfully replacing the mountains with the sea. Optional service: Digital photography |
