Further details
There are excellent restaurants, tapas bars and shopping facilities in Ronda, and these are perfectly complemented by the offer of the nearby villages of Arriate, Los Prados and Setenil de las Bodegas; a village which features the curiosity of a splendid tapas bar carved into the side of a cliff. At the turn of the twentieth century the filoxera plague devastated regional wine production but nowadays, once again, first class, award winning wines are being produced and sold by local vineyards and cellars such as the nearby Las Monjas, which is open to visitors. Ideal for peaceful, relaxing holidays with outdoor pursuits such as hiking, horse riding, climbing, painting etc. Centrally situated for visits to Andalucian cities such as Seville, Malaga and Granada. Nearby natural parks of the Sierra de las Nieves and the Sierra de Grazalema.
